Returning to Ghana

We heard an interesting take on resolutions recently: Resolute: the act of determination upon some act or procedure.As this note reaches you, we hope that you are feeling resolute and determined in your pursuit and experience of God. Jesus said that if we would seek Him, we would find Him. “I came so that they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they have ever dreamed of.” Hebrews tells us that “God rewards those who diligently seek Him.”
We have not been seeking diligently in recent days,,,but we have resolved,,, and we are determined to re-prioritize,,,today and this year!

Thank you again, all of you who have prayed, given and served with us in 2009. We thank God for you. We will continue to pray for you. Please let us know how you are and how we can join with you in prayer.

We leave for Ghana on Jan 7th. and arrive on the 8th. On the 11th we will depart Ogbojo and travel to Keta krachi, for a survey and planning trip. After we return, we will pack up, rent a large truck, obtain bldg materials and return to Keta krachi for the next few months. We’ll be working to build a school and housing for the kids that are being rescued out of the child trafficking and slavery. Most materials must be brought in from Accra, approx 12-14 hrs travel with the ferry transport portion. It’s fairly remote with difficult travel, please pray for us through these travels and work.

We’ve prayed for God to supply the resources to build the school and more housing for the rescued children…..Yeah God!
-Many of you have continued to give, and have given some amazing gifts.
–God provided work for gary while in MI.
–God has provided the funds for the school and housing projects through a partner organization and we praise God!
