Pastor Daniel, Mohammad, AL Hassan and Gary were thanking God and discussing the purpose of the church building which will be a community center, school and adult education center. It’s not a place designed to collect people, but a place to worship, love each other, learn, grow and deploy the church family into the local and surrounding communities. Al Hassan said that it would quickly be filled to overflowing. Our brother Mohammad said that the structure is the message box. The message goes out from the building – “the box,” to the people. AMEN!

Not so many years ago, the  Ghana Gov. would place “message Box’s” in area’s where people came together, to communicate messages to the people. They were communication box’s or basic radio/speaker box’s placed on poles or tree’s to send out important messages. “The Church is The Message Box.”

We believe the church bldgs will be the community transformation centers: Community center, School, House of Worship.

Our brother Kofi is a gifted musician and worship leader.

We’ve known Kofi for five years. He has served in an impoverished area for nine years. He leads seven churches.

Buildings have been constructed by the churches over the last five years. One of the churches was roofed six months ago.

 

We spent a day with Kofi and three of his church leaders visiting the communities they serve.

Our outreach team (Kingdom Collaboration team) – Daniel (Hope Kaare), Roderick (CYI Accra), Peter (Volta region), Clement & Edmund (Bolgatanga & Zuarangu), Samuel from Burkina Faso and gary.

We were all humbled and encouraged by our brother Kofi’s endurance and faithfulness. Everyone was touched and inspired by the continuous and contagious joy he always has. None of the brothers except gary had ever visited his area or seen his ministry first hand. They knew Kofi from our outreach collaborations in other areas and various training environments over the years. Some of the team said they grieved and repented for complaining about difficulties in their ministry environments.

Please pray with us for the provisions to help these communities with the materials for their church roofs.

They have done all that they can do, how can “we help to wash their backs”, where they cannot reach?

We always look for sustainable and transferable ministry investments – Along with that – Our Lord said that we would always have the poor among us. We are literally called to help and serve the poor.

“How can the love of God be in us, if we see a brother in need and do nothing to help him.”

Please pray and ask God, “what would you have me to do?”

Our sister accepted Christ back in June when God birthed Hope Balungu, she is now the choir leader.

Pastor Timothy in Yellow shorts. He is doing great; the church loves him, he serves with gentleness, humility and joy.

Pastor’s Daniel & Emmanuel continue to mentor and walk with him and Balungu.

Ismael is growing and serving with Timothy. His mom and siblings also followed in Baptism.

We Thank God! Thank you for providing 2 moto’s for our brothers their families, and for providing a laptop for pastor Kofi.

Hope Balungu received 14 Goats to kick off their Give a Goat initiative. Hope Kaare received 2 additional goats into their community. The neediest in the community are identified, beginning with the widows and then the poorest. Those who receive the first goats, share the first born kids with those they are partnered with, and so on.

Thank you to all who have given to our dear brothers and sisters. You have encouraged them, helped them, and demonstrated the Love of Jesus.

“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth.”

 

The first church service in Shia. This community has been asking Hope Kaare and Balungu for months, “when will you bring this kind of church here?”

They brought it… They are not “doing” church, they are being the church!

In recent days, many have repented in Balungu and Shia. We’ve discussed repentance and baptism. “God, you’re right and i am wrong. I am moving to your side, turning from my old life, my ways, even myself.”

On Wed. we had many baptism’s. Yeah God! Heaven is rejoicing!

Our God is mighty to save!

Blessed to be with the Hope church Kaare – Family.

God has used Daniel, the Hope Kaare family and Emmanuel to expand His Kingdom in Balungu.

They are growing, they know that they are the church – the “Called Out Ones!” 

The Lord has continued to “add to their number,,, those who are being saved.” YEAH GOD!

Last year, our brother Dan and Hope Kaare loved and served Balungu faithfully.

God is growing His children in number and health.

God is using Hope Kaare and Hope Bulungu in the surrounding villages.

People are talking – “Come and see”, is what they are sharing and hearing.

Many turned to Christ last week in Shia. Hope Kaare continues to reach out to them.

This weekend, Hope Kaare outreach team will worship with these new “called out ones.”

Several other communities are asking, “when will you come, we need this ‘church’ here.”

Bra- Dan and Hope Kaare hosted us for fellowship and training. We believe God is raising up kingdom men.

During the conference, two brothers got up, confessed, repented and reconciled with God and each other.

It was powerful – God used them as a catalyst for repentance, healing and worship.

When God moves – lives are changed!
